Dr. Sabry was graduated from Ain shams University Faculty of Medicine – Egypt in 1988. He took the residency program at Ain shams University Ophthalmology department from 1990 till 1993.
After obtaining the master’s degree, Dr. Sabry joined Magrabi Eye & Ear Hospitals in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in December 1993 till 1997.
He worked in the cataract and glaucoma unit then he worked in pediatric ophthalmology &  strabismus unit. Dr.Sabry took the fellowship program of pediatric ophthalmology & strabismus at IUPUI, Indiana USA with
professor Dr. Eugene Helveston 1997-1998 Dr. Sabry joined Magrabi Center in Abu Dhabi in March 1998, He has been responsible for the pediatric ophthalmology & strabismus speciality since then.Also Dr. Sabry was in-charge of cataract and glaucoma unit in Magrabi eye center Al Najda branch; Abu Dhabi from 1999 until 2009. Dr. Sabry has 30 years of experience in clinical evaluation and surgical procedures of all strabismus procedures, pediatrics, and adult cataract procedures, pediatric glaucoma, pediatric lacrimal disorders. also he shared in many local and regional ophthalmology meetings. He is an active member of ophthalmology societies.
