Dr. Kamal Mehrez is a General Ophthalmology Consultant with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Kamal started his career in Magrabi Medical Corporation as Ophthalmology Specialist in 1992 then at Magrabi Eye and Ear Center in Abu Dhabi in 1995. He returned to Magrabi Eye and Ear Hospital in Jeddah in 1999 and undergone an Oculoplastic Fellowship until 2001. He worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in Magrabi Eye and Ear Center in Abu Dhabi from 2001 until 2016. Prior to rejoining Magrabi Abu Dhabi in 2021, he worked in Ibn Nafees Medical Center and Burjeel Hospital. In Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Kamal completed his MBBCh in Kasr El Eni School of Medicine in Cairo University in 1994 followed by Masters in Ophthalmology and PhD in Ophthalmology in Al Azhar University in Cairo in 1991 and 2001. He passed his FRCSEd exam in 2001 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Kamal finished his Oculoplastic Fellowship in Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami University, USA in 2002 and Phaeco Fellowship in Mahatme Eye Bank & Hospital in India in 2008.
