Dr. Jurdi is an Ophthalmologist sub-specialized in Oculoplastic Surgery with over 10 years of experience. She graduated in medicine and Ophthalmology from the American University of Beirut, and the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUB-MC). She then completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic, lacrimal and orbital surgery at the Orbital Center of the Academic Medical Center – University of Amsterdam (AMC-UVA).

Dr Jurdi is a published author in peer reviewed research journals and shares her work through lectures presented to local as well as international ophthalmologists. She is also an associate member of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS).

She joined Magrabi Eye Hospital Dubai in 2022 where her practice encompasses all facets of ophthalmology in general, from eye check-ups, to diagnosis and management of ophthalmological conditions; with her main area of focus and expertise being in Oculoplastics.

Oculoplastic surgery includes, but is not limited to, eyelid surgery and the tearing eye. Dr Jurdi has a passion for and is an expert in peri-ocular injectables (botox, fillers), cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), functional eyelid surgery (such as droopy eyelid), eyelid tumors and reconstruction; as well as management of the tearing eye whether medically or surgically.

In her practice as well as lectures, she emphasizes that a good approach includes a customized approach as required to the best benefit of each individual. This approach helps maintain a realistic and healthy perspective when helping patients to see as well as look better.

Her aim in cosmetic procedures, including blepharolplasty, is a natural outcome; and her motto is to Age Gracefully.
